Product Guarantee

Office Concepts strives to produce high-quality office chairs, using quality components supplied by reputable and long-standing component suppliers.
​Warranty Period
The warranty period for each product is clearly stated on its individual product page on our website. This warranty applies only to Office Concepts products sold and used within the Republic of South Africa.
Proof of Purchase
A valid proof of purchase (copy of the original invoice indicating the date of purchase) is required when submitting a warranty claim.
Governing Law
This warranty, the agreement to which it relates, and the relationship between you and Office Concepts are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Standard Usage Conditions
Unless otherwise specified on our website, this warranty covers products used under standard office conditions, defined as 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Warranty Process
Once the product has been inspected and the warranty claim approved, Office Concepts will repair the product. If repair is not possible, the product will be replaced with a new item. Should repair or replacement not be feasible, Office Concepts reserves the right to supply an equivalent alternative product. The repaired, replaced, or substituted product will be returned to you at no additional charge.
Coverage Details
This warranty covers:
  • Defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Latent manufacturing defects.
  • Upholstery Limitation: Pleather or vinyl upholstery is covered by a 2-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship only.
Exclusions
Office Concepts will not be held liable for damage arising from any of the following (this list is not exhaustive):
  • Accidental or impact-related damage.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Incorrect assembly by the purchaser, including all products supplied in flat-pack form.
  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or use of the product outside its intended purpose.
  • Inadequate care or maintenance, including failure to clean and maintain upholstery in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Use of incorrect, harsh, or damaging cleaning products on chair upholstery or arm components, which will result in the warranty being void.
  • Any modification, servicing, or repair carried out by parties other than Office Concepts or its authorised service agents.
  • Each chair has a specified safe working load. Use above the rated capacity or in heavy-duty industrial applications beyond the chair’s design may void the warranty. For heavy-duty seating requirements please contact us for suitable models with higher weight ratings.
  • Damage caused by fire, flooding, or other acts of God.

  • Office Concepts shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage arising from the purchase or use of the product.
  • As a result of continuously implemented product design updates, Office Concepts reserves the right to alter design details and specifications without prior notice.
